Funfair rides and side stalls for fetes and fundraisers

A few rides or a row of traditional stalls can turn a fun day into an event people travel to, which helps when the aim is to raise money. Some of the firms in this section are local to the south-central counties, and others take bookings across the UK and name Surrey or Berkshire among the areas they visit.

Rides need more planning than inflatables. Ask for the ground area and slope each ride can work on, how heavy the vehicles are if they will cross grass, whether operators are included, and how long set-up and break-down take. Check too whether your landowner or council has rules about fairground equipment on the site.
